What activities are you involved in at school? Moonglowers, National Honor Society (president), French Honor Society, Wind Ensemble, FED Challenge, Marching Band
What activities are you involved in out of school? NJ PAC (jazz for teens), and I'm an intern for Linda Stender.
What is your favorite subject? Why? History. I think it's interesting and it's cool making connections to the past.
Which of all the classes you've taken has taught you the most? I learned the most from my freshman year World History class with Mrs. Karanik.
Why did you choose to attend Vassar next year? I wanted a small liberal arts college with a strong music department, so Vassar fit.
What are you most excited for about Vassar or just college in general? I'm excited to take some different classes, try different subjects, and meet new people.
What are you most worried about? I'm most worried about having money. Over the summer, I'm going to be an intern for Pershing, a brokerage firm.
What will your major be? I'm majoring in either economics or political science.
What is a goal that you want to achieve by the end of your four years in college? I want to get into Phi Beta Kappa.
Do you have siblings? I have a younger sister, Kristen. She's 12. We get along very well.
What is your favorite thing to do in your free time? Eat ice cream. I love Haagen Daas Caramel Cone.
What is your favorite movie? Goodfellas. It's a gangster movie. It's kind of interesting how the underground mob works.
What is your favorite TV show? Entourage. It's a really funny show, and it's exciting to see the ridiculously stupid things they do.
What is your favorite type of music? Jazz. I listen to Miles Davis, Winston Marsalis, and John Coltrane.
What is your favorite book, and why? Artemis Fowl. It was a really cool story about a genius kid who saves the world.
What is the most important thing your family has taught you? My family has taught me to be responsible.
What is the best advice you have ever received? Be confident in yourself. I was told that at a leadership conference.
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be? Determined, without regret.
What would your perfect day consist of? My perfect day would be sleeping until noon, eating at the Bonefish Grill, hanging out with friends and going to bed at four am.
If you could live anywhere in the world, where would you live? Paris. I take French. I like the food, I like the relaxed culture, and it's a beautiful city.
If you got to spend a day with any celebrity, political figure, or anyone famous, who would you choose? Why? I would spend a day with President Taft just to see how much he eats.
