On December 5, Students Concerned for the Needy hosted Tiny Tim Caroling from 4 to 8 p.m. The proceeds went toward the Tiny Tim Fund, which supplies children in the local area with toys and gifts for Christmas. They also participated in an Angel Tree adoption project, in which SPFHS students adopted 45 local children to whom they donate gifts for Christmas.
The club will also be holding its 16th Annual holiday Food Drive, and it is the perfect way to support those in our community who are less fortunate. Each student is asked to bring at least three canned or boxed food items to their homeroom, and the homeroom that donates the most food by the middle of January will win a free breakfast. If every SPF student was to donate three items, more than 4,200 items could be collected.
